I was born in Jennersville, PA, in 1963. I am a Marine Corps veteran, computer specialist, writer, traveler, rescued dog/cat owner—or maybe I should say I rent my house from them. They have the run of the house.
Since I was a young boy, I have always been an avid reader. I remember reading maybe 20-30 books a year. I started writing poems and then later short stories. It never really took off because I had to make money to pay the bills. I was honorably discharged from the Marine Corps after ten years of service, then worked in the computer field for the next 30-plus years, where I am today. I still write on the side when I can.
Now that retirement is right around the corner, I will be spending more time on my writing goals. A professor compared my first short story to a well-known author’s work. However, I was hesitant to move forward with it at the time. Now that I have more time on my hands, I will see where this exciting journey takes me.
