We need to understand the inadequacy of an educational system so slanted towards material values. The solution is not to give an occasional lecture, but to integrate ethics into the educational curriculum. As a teacher and have worked with teachers for most of my 30 years of experience, once you put ethics as a topic into a curriculum, you are headed down a slippery slope. Sadly it is that exact lacking that is troubling the world.
